How to set up monthly subscriptions for 1:1 contributions

Why is it relevant?: The addition of monthly subscriptions in Cohere makes it easier for coaches to offer longer commitment or ongoing services, providing a stable income stream and boosting client commitment. Clients benefit from simplified payments and the option to commit to longer-term coaching. This feature sets Cohere apart, offering a competitive edge in the diverse coaching landscape.  
 
Recommendation: If you plan to provide 1:1 services through monthly subscriptions, we recommend using Cohere Payment Processor as the default option. This is because Stripe may have some limitations that prevent you from using this feature with your default Stripe account. This guide will walk you through the steps on how to set up a monthly subscription for your 1:1 contributions. 

Step 1: Create Your 1:1 Contribution

Step 2: Start by creating a new 1:1 contribution or membership in Cohere. Fill in all the necessary details in steps 1, 2, and 3.
 

Step 3: Once you've completed the initial steps, move to the Pricing section (step 4). 
 

Step 4: In the Pricing section, check the box labeled "Monthly Subscription" 

Step 5: After enabling the monthly subscription, you'll need to configure some additional details:

• • Client Session Credits Per Month: Specify the number of client session credits your subscription will include per month.
  • Duration of Subscription: Choose the duration for your subscription plan (e.g., 1 month, 3 months, 6 months). 

 


 Step 6: Finally, add the monthly price for your subscription plan. This is the amount clients will pay each month for access to your 1:1 sessions or membership and click "Save and Next" and complete the rest of the steps. 

               

Once you've completed these steps, your clients will have the option to subscribe to your monthly plan, making it easier than ever to offer your coaching services or memberships with Cohere.
