Why is this relevant?: In order to set your availability, prevent double booking, and receive calendar reminders for the sessions, it is required to add your calendar(s). The coaches can see the upcoming sessions in their calendars and can also prevent double booking with any connected calendar, as well as send custom calendar invites to clients.
Recommendation: It is recommended to add calendars for your 1:1 contributions however, we do not recommend adding calendars for the group, membership, community, or workshop contributions, as your clients will be able to see each other emails this way. Note: your clients will still receive an automated calendar invite from a "noreply@cohere.live" email address.
This guide will walk you through the steps on how to integrate your calendar into your integration tab and contributions.
Default Calendar to send invites from:
Step 1: Click on the downwards arrow at the top right corner of your Coach Dashboard and then click on "Account"
Step 2: From there, go to the "Integrations" section and click "Add My Calendar"
Step 3: A pop-up will appear, click on the "Add my calendar" button, available against "Default Calendar to Send Invites From"
Step 4: On clicking "Add First Calendar," you'll be asked to enter your "Email"
Step 5: After providing the "Email," you'll be asked to select "Calendar"
Note: You can also add a different Calendar by clicking "Select a different provider"
Step 6: After selecting "Calendar," you'll be asked to select "Account"
Step 7: On selecting "Account," you'll be asked to give Account access to "Nylas"- click the top box.
Step 8: On clicking Continue, you'll be redirected to the My Account >> Integrations. Your selected Calendar will appear in the "Calendar Connections" section.
Note: If you do not want this calendar connected at any time, you can remove the Calendar by clicking the Cross(X) button against the integrated Calendar.
2. Prevent Double Booking:
You can also add a personal CALENDAR to prevent double bookings to prevent schedule conflicts. Follow the steps below to complete this:
Step 1: On step 3 of creating a contribution, click "Add my calendar" on the top right corner of your screen.
Step 2: Click the "Add First Calendar" button against "Prevent Double Booking"
Step 3: On clicking "Add First Calendar," you'll be asked to add "Email"
Step 4: After providing the "Email," you'll be asked to select "Calendar"
Note: You can also add a different Calendar by clicking "Select a different provider"
Step 5: After selecting "Calendar," you'll be asked to select "Account"
Step 6: On selecting "Account," you'll be asked to give account access to "Nylas" - click the top box.
Step 7: On clicking Continue, you'll be redirected to the My Account >> Integrations.
Step 8: Your selected Calendar will appear in the "Calendar Connections" section.
Note: You can remove the Calendar by clicking the Cross(X) button against the integrated Calendar.
Note: Once the default calendar is integrated, it can be used in every contribution by clicking on "add my calendar" in step 3 of creating a contribution. We recommend using only for 1:1 contributions at this time.
