Why is this relevant?: Coaches and clients occasionally encounter a challenge wherein the scheduled sessions on the Cohere platform fail to populate their connected calendars. It's worth noting that sessions scheduled and invitations received via email will be automatically integrated into the connected calendar, ensuring seamless coordination and visibility.
This guide will walk you through the steps on how to fix the sessions not appearing on your calendar as a coach.
1 - Importing iCAL file into your Google Calendar:
Step 1: When a user receives an invitation on their email, there is an iCal file attached to the email.
Step 2: Users will be able to click the file to download the iCAL file.
Step 3: Once the user has downloaded the iCAL file, the user will be able to import it into the calendar following the below steps:
1 - Open Google Calendar
2 - In the top right, click "Settings"
3 - From the Settings button dropdown, select the "Settings" button again.
4 - In the left navigation bar, click button "Import & Export"
5 - Select the appropriate file from your computer.
6 - Click import.
7- File will be imported successfully to your calendar.
2 - Google privacy update:
Step 1: Google has recently introduced a revision to its privacy policy. Under this updated policy, recipients of 'no-reply' emails must confirm their familiarity with the sender before taking further action.
Step 2: Once users have acknowledged their knowledge of the sender within the received email interface by selecting the 'I know the sender' option, pertinent events will be automatically integrated into their associated Calendar.
