Why is it relevant?: The coach can record the sessions they have with clients. This way, they can review the recording later if they need to find specific information from the session. Clients who attended the session can also watch the recorded video if they want to clarify something they didn't understand during the session. Additionally, for group sessions, clients who couldn't attend can watch the recording later.
Recommendation: It's good practice to start recording at the beginning of the session so both clients and coaches have access to the entire session video.
This guide will walk you through the steps on how to record a live video session once you launch the session. (How to launch a session)
Step 1: Once you launch the session, you'll be directed to the video service provider you selected while creating your service.
Step 2: If you're using Cohere as your video service provider, locate the "Start Recording" button at the bottom of the screen and click it. This will initiate the recording.
Step 3: For Zoom and similar service providers, locate and click the record feature provided by the platform. Make sure you are recording to the cloud while using Zoom so that the recording automatically uploads to the session tab after your session.
Note: You can also easily turn your microphone and camera on/off by clicking on their respective icons at the bottom of the screen after launching the session.
