Cohere’s Chat feature makes it easy for clients and coaches to stay connected — enabling you to share thoughts, ask questions, and engage in meaningful conversations.
Whether it’s a private 1:1 chat with your coach or a group discussion within the same service, the Chat feature enhances collaboration and communication for everyone. 💬
How to Access the Chat Feature
Follow these steps to start chatting on Cohere:
Step 1: Log In
Log in to your Cohere account.
Once you’re on your Client Dashboard, find the Conversation section on the left side of the page.
Step 2: Choose a Chat Type
Inside the Conversation section, you’ll see three options:

Group
Each tab helps you access different types of conversations.
1. All Chats
See all your ongoing conversations in one place.
Step 1: Click All to view a list of all your chats.
Step 2: Click on the name of the chat you’d like to open.
Step 3: Type your message and hit Send.
You can also add emojis 😀 or file attachments 📎 using their icons.
2. 1:1 Chats
View and message your coach directly in private.
Step 1: Click 1:1 to see your private conversations.
Step 2: Select the name of the coach or client you want to chat with.
Step 3: Send your message, attach files, or add emojis as needed.
3. Group Chats
Participate in discussions with other clients or your coach in shared group spaces.
Step 1: Click Group to view all your group conversations.
Step 2: Select the group you’d like to chat with.
Step 3: Type your message, add emojis, or attach files as needed.
Additional Access Point
💬 You can also access chat directly within your Community section for any of your services.
This lets you engage with other members and your coach right where your program content lives.
