How to Create Quizzes

Cohere now allows you to create custom quizzes on all plans — and clients don’t need a Cohere account to complete them.
You can fully personalize your quizzes with branding, thank-you pages, confirmation emails, and response downloads.

While the ability to link quizzes directly to sessions and modules is coming soon, for now, you can easily share them via email or in your community.

How to Create a Quiz

Standalone quizzes can be created in two ways within the Cohere platform:

1. From the All Forms section

2. Directly from the Create button on your Business Dashboard

Method 1: Create from the “All Forms” Section

Step 1: Open the Forms Section

From your Coach Dashboard, click Forms on the left-hand side and select All Forms.

                                       

Step 2: Open the Quizzes Tab

Click on the Quizzes tab at the top, then click Create a Quiz in the top-left corner of the page.

Step 3: Choose Quiz Type

By default, the system will create a Scored Quiz (the Personality/Conditional Quiz option will be available soon).

Step 4: Choose How to Start

You can:

• Create from Scratch — start a new quiz and click Next, or

• Choose from Prior Template — select an existing quiz from the dropdown list and click Next.

Step 5: Name Your Quiz

Enter a title for your quiz and click Next.

Step 6: Add Questions

Choose between Dropdown and Multiple Choice question types.
Enter your question, add possible answers, and select the correct answer for each.
Click Save and Next after each question to continue adding more.

Step 7: Customize Settings

On the right-hand side of the screen, you can:

• • Enable email results to be automatically sent to clients

  • Apply your brand colors for a consistent look

  • Define a passing grade

  • Choose a Use Case — make the quiz standalone or integrate it into an existing service as self-paced content
    
    

                                               

Step 8: Save and Publish

Click Save Quiz to save your progress, then click Publish to make it live.

Step 9: Share the Quiz

Once published, a shareable link will be generated. Copy this link to your clipboard and share it with your clients.

Step 10: Preview Your Quiz

Click Preview to see what your clients will experience when taking the quiz.

Method 2: Create from the “Create” Button on Your Dashboard

Step 1: Start a New Quiz

From your Business Dashboard, click Create, then select Form/Quiz.

                                                   

Step 2: Choose Quiz Type

Select Create a Standalone Quiz with a unique link.

Step 3: Select “Scored Quiz”

Since you’re creating a quiz, choose Scored Quiz.

Step 4: Follow Setup Steps

Continue with the same steps outlined above in the All Forms section to add questions, customize settings, and publish your quiz.

🎉 That’s it! You’ve successfully created your quiz. Share the link with clients to test their knowledge, track progress, and increase engagement.
