You can track the performance of your email campaigns and sequences at every level, from a high-level view across all campaigns down to the individual contacts behind each metric.
This article covers everything available in your analytics:
- Global campaign analytics across all your one-time campaigns.
- Global sequence analytics for each individual sequence.
- Detailed per-campaign analytics with contact-level reporting.
- Detailed sequence analytics with campaign-level reporting.
- Filters, search, CSV export, and bulk actions to help you act on what you find.
Global campaign analytics
Global campaign analytics give you a high-level view of how all your one-time campaigns are performing together.
Where to find it
Open the One-Time Email Campaigns list view. The global analytics appear at the top of the page, above the list of campaigns.
Time filter
A Time dropdown lets you adjust the range of the displayed metrics. Options include All Time, Month-to-Date, Last 30 Days, Last 7 Days, and a custom Date Range. The default is All Time.
Metrics shown
The metrics shown are aggregated across all your one-time campaigns:
- Delivered
- Bounced
- Total Sent Emails
- Opened
- Clicked
- Spam Reported
- Unsubscribed
This view is the best starting point if you want to understand your overall email performance before drilling into a specific campaign.
Global sequence analytics
Global sequence analytics give you a high-level view of how an individual email sequence is performing across all the campaigns inside it.
Where to find it
Open the Email Sequences list view and click the analytics icon next to any sequence. The global sequence analytics pop-up opens for that sequence.
Time filter
A Time dropdown lets you adjust the range of the displayed metrics. The default is All Time. Your selection is carried into the detailed view when you drill down.
Metrics shown
- Contacts Entered
- Emails in Sequence
- Total Sent Emails
- Delivered
- Opened
- Clicked
- Bounced
- Spam Reported
- Unsubscribed
Most engagement and deliverability metrics are shown as both a percentage and a count, so you can see relative performance at a glance.
Drilling deeper
A View Detailed Analytics button in the top-right takes you to the sequence's campaign-level detailed view, where you can see how each campaign in the sequence is performing.
Detailed campaign analytics
Detailed campaign analytics give you a closer look at a single campaign and the contacts behind each metric.
Where to find it
There are three ways to open detailed campaign analytics:
- From the One-Time Email Campaigns list, click the analytics icon next to any campaign to open the campaign analytics pop-up.
- From the detailed sequence analytics view, click any campaign name to open the campaign analytics for that campaign.
- From the sequence builder, click the analytics icon beside any active campaign. The icon stays disabled for inactive campaigns.
Campaign analytics pop-up
The pop-up shows high-level performance for that specific campaign.
A Time dropdown at the top lets you adjust the range. The default is All Time, and your selection is carried into the detailed view when you drill down.
The pop-up shows:
- Delivered
- Bounced
- Total Sent Emails
- Opened
- Clicked
- Spam Reported
- Unsubscribed
The first five metrics are clickable. Click the metric value or its icon to open the detailed contact-level view, where filters are pre-applied to show exactly the contacts behind that number.
Spam Reported and Unsubscribed are shown for visibility and do not drill down.
Detailed contact-level view
This is where you can see which contacts make up each metric and take action.
Filters and search
You can refine the list using:
- Deliverability filter. Delivered, Hard bounce, Soft bounce, Undelivered.
- Engagement filter. Opened, Clicked.
- Time filter. All Time, Month-to-Date, Last 30 Days, Last 7 Days, or a custom Date Range.
- Search. Matches on Full Name and Email. Case-insensitive, partial match, and works with multi-word queries.
Search works on top of your selected filters, so you can narrow further within a specific group of contacts. A Clear Filters link resets everything back to the default state.
Contact details in the table
Each row shows the contact's name, email, deliverability status, last opened date, total opens, total clicks, and a details column. For bounced or undelivered contacts, the details column shows the reason returned by the email provider, which is useful for troubleshooting deliverability issues.
Clicking a contact's name opens their CRM page.
Export
The Export button downloads a CSV of the current filtered view. The export respects all active filters, your time range, and your search term, so what you download matches what you see on screen.
Detailed sequence analytics
Detailed sequence analytics give you a campaign-level breakdown of every campaign inside a sequence.
Where to find it
Open the global sequence analytics pop-up for any sequence, then click View Detailed Analytics in the top-right.
Time filter
A Time dropdown lets you adjust the range. The default is whatever was selected in the pop-up.
Campaign-level table
The table lists every campaign in the sequence along with its last sent date, total sends, delivered count, opens, clicks, bounces, spam reports, and unsubscribes.
Clicking any campaign name opens the detailed contact-level view for that campaign, so you can drill from sequence-level performance all the way down to individual contacts.
Export
The Export button downloads a CSV of the campaign-level list, respecting the current Time selection.
Bulk actions
When you select one or more contacts in the detailed contact-level view, three actions become available.
Delete
Removes the selected contacts from your account. You will be asked to acknowledge that the contact will be removed from all lists and services and would need to re-enroll to be added back.
Unsubscribe
Stops campaign emails to the selected contacts. You can resubscribe them at any time.
Add Tag
Opens the tagging flow with your selected contacts pre-filled, using the same tagging behavior as in your main Contacts section.
Quick FAQ
What is the difference between global and detailed analytics? Global analytics give you an aggregated view, either across all your one-time campaigns or across all campaigns inside a specific sequence. Detailed analytics let you drill into a single campaign and see the individual contacts behind each metric.
Why are some metric tiles not clickable? Only Delivered, Bounced, Total Sent Emails, Opened, and Clicked support drilldowns. Spam Reported and Unsubscribed are shown for visibility only.
Does the time filter carry over when I drill down? Yes. Whatever time range you select at a higher level is applied automatically when you drill down.
Will my export include only what I am currently viewing? Yes. CSV exports respect all active filters, the time range, and any search term.
Can I take action on contacts directly from analytics? Yes. You can delete, unsubscribe, or tag contacts in bulk from the detailed contact-level view.
Why is the analytics icon disabled for some campaigns in my sequence builder? Analytics are only available for active or live campaigns. Inactive campaigns show the icon as disabled.
What filters are applied when I click each metric in the campaign analytics pop-up? Each drilldown opens the detailed view with filters pre-applied so you see exactly the contacts behind that metric:
- Delivered. Shows contacts whose email was successfully delivered.
- Bounced. Shows contacts whose email hard bounced or soft bounced.
- Total Sent Emails. Shows all contacts the campaign was sent to, regardless of deliverability or engagement.
- Opened. Shows delivered contacts who opened the email.
- Clicked. Shows delivered contacts who clicked a link in the email.
You can adjust the filters at any time once inside the detailed view.
What is included in the CSV file name when I export? For campaign analytics exports, the file name includes the campaign name and the metric you exported from (for example, delivered, bounced, opened, clicked, total-sent, or all if no specific metric was selected). For sequence analytics exports, the file name includes the sequence name. Special characters are removed and spaces are replaced with dashes.
How does back navigation work across the analytics views? The back arrow always returns you to the view you came from:
- From the detailed campaign view, you return to the campaign analytics pop-up.
- If you opened the campaign view from a sequence, you return to the detailed sequence view first, then to the sequence analytics pop-up.
- From the detailed sequence view, you return to the sequence analytics pop-up.
This means you can move between sequence-level and campaign-level analytics without losing your place.
Can I reset all filters at once in the detailed view? Yes. The Clear Filters link resets deliverability to all options, engagement to all options, time to All Time, and clears your search input.
Does the search work across both name and email at the same time? Yes. Search matches on both Full Name and Email, is case-insensitive, supports partial matches, and works with multi-word queries.
